Just so you know, according to Terms of Use:

exchange2000.com

"* Posting improper or off-topic messages or posting more than twenty messages in six hours."

Please read up on the terms of use. It would be a shame if your cluttering up the thread caused you to get booted off.

You have posted 27 messages within the past 6 hours.

Iomega's fate is sealed. It is doomed to be an also-ran, a company that exploded way too fast, and based on just one product. This reality is going to hit home this Summer as Castlewood and Sony deliver one-two hits right into Iomega's crotch.

The reality of iMac-like computers shipping with no drives at all (save CD/DVD) does not bode well for Iomega's future. Iomega is depending on OEM's to try and expand its presence. The sad fact is, the future looks to be a place where a myriad of storage options will live. The niche will be divided up between CD-R, CD-RW, Orb, HiFi, SparQ, LS-120 Superdisc, Nomai, and many others. This market pressure will eat away at profits as Iomega tries to compete with the cost/MB advantages just about every other medium offers over Zip and Jaz. Indeed, last Winter Iomega may have seen its last profitable quarter for a long, long time.
