Dan, I look at both an 8 year chart on AILP and a two year...You might say the one gives us a short-term picture of move, the other a longer term look.....Example 2 year chart on AILP shows a move to 5 is in the cards...Pattern is 3 by 1...Neckline there is 3.00..Add 2 to three and you get 5.00...But you need to also look at a longer term chart as well...Regards, Mark

Dan,

What a great thread! I just found it and I am reading all the postings from the beginning.. Trouble is I do not always understand what is obvious to the rest of you. How do you identify the location of the neckline? On Head and Shoulders and Double Bottoms charts it is very clear.. Is there a rule for locating the neckline on other kinds of charts? Thanks in advance.

Leonard
