This copper project had been during 1996-76 owned by a Japanese company Nitto Metals, who where involved in extensive exploration as well as underground mining until during the mid to late 70's copper prices fell and political tension in Bolivia at that time was very dangerous, unlike today whereas Bolivia is regarding as a safe environment to do business. That copper project was 1966-76.
