Rocky,

It's curious that you should say that the LS-120 is more versatile than Zip. The LS-120 only has two interfaces: external PP and internal IDE. It's compatible with a drive everyone already has and nobody needs.

Now we hear about a USB version, which is not available yet, but is "in development" (ie about two years away from being commercially available).

Sony's HiFD won't bury everyone else Rocky. Iomega's market share stands at about 96%. It will be very costly for Sony to steal any significant market share of the removable, high capacity storage market.

Philip

that really makes sense..why would anyone want an LS-120? Oh gee give me a drive that is slow and locks up with a 1.4...ls-120 LS stands for Late to Ship=death in todays market.
