Mariner, I've used 3 different Internet brokers and find them all very slow, think it may be the encryption technology, not sure. I like Greenline because of their micromax, I use a DOS based modem program to dial in, very quick for orders,quotes and chking portfolio. As far as using a US broker, don't believe there is any restriction, aside from filling out non resident forms, based on people I've spoke to who are doing it, although I haven't tried it myself.
