Here's the results of my margin research to date. I selected companies that ranged from $30-$100M in sales and figured FAMH would be somewhere near this midpoint. Company Symbol..........Revenues..........Profit margin...... SRT $97 6.6 ESOL $91 -1.1 OSIX $82 0.4 BBSI $69 1.2 ASIS $54 6.0 TMAM $43 0.3 PSTFY $38 5.2 DR $35 -19.3 JOB $33 8.1 HIR $32 7.4 TPMI $32 1.8 Straight Avg $55 1.5 Weighted Avg $55 1.8 A few others up to $500M in sales with margins over 5% ROMC $214 6.2 ASGN $119 8.2 SCBI $110 6.9 AVRT $9 12.1 After this cursory review, it seems that margins in this industry are generally under 5% but that they can and do go higher, as evidenced above. With some of the other areas that FAMH is involved with, hopefully they can be in the 6-7% range but I doubt that they will do any beter than this. Looking like we need to reduce the share count in order to get this puppy moving in the right direction. I feel that this is the number one way to increase not only shareholder value, but shareholder confidence as well. Wink ;>)
