Apple has some historical records that underestimated the market demand. In 1995 they could not produce and deliver fast enough for the market demand and lost the opportunity to grasp the market share and revenue. I hope it wouldn't make the same mistake on the Powerbook.

Ian- Powerbook Ditto in Madison, Wi. Ian, I went to see my local black-shirt ar CompUSA (Madison) and he says the same thing- powerbooks in a few weeks. There you go- the demand must be phenominal. I want one with an active matrix screen and 1024xwhatever resolution- this is what I need to read web pages. Comparing to a similar Thinkpad- you pay a little more, but get MacOS and a PHENOMINAL increase in performance. These babies should blow the doors off the 166 pentiums that are pretty much as fast as Wintel Laptops go these days! Richard
