[ TSIS and VCR ]

Skane,

I don't play stocks with characteristics like TSIS, particularly at points below significant overhead. You may want to direct your question to TATRADER, who appears to have a method to determine the amount of overhead.

Do I think the overhead is going to be taken out? I won't even speculate because the TA bag is too mixed, and I did not pull out enough stock data to make any meaningful observations (just six months, but I will change that as of next week).

As for VCR, yes, it is a breakout. But I tend to fall with the camp that doesn't play such stocks if we're late on the breakout. The price closed above the upper Bollinger Band, so I won't touch this. Plus, if you look at the price behavior after significant breakouts, you'll find that the issue just drifts for an extended period afterwards, which makes me wonder why this time is different from before (if one is assuming that the runaway will continue).

Regards,

Rainier
