As a trader, this was the hardest thing for me to learn.
Honestly ! It took me years and years.
Now I feel this way:
(1) A quick loss is the cheapest loss.
(2) A quick loss is part of the insurance cost required
of traders.
(3) I have learned that about 9 out of 10 small losses
are recovered with a small gain, but 1 out of 10
small losses grow and grow and grow to become very
very big losses.

(4) Now I take a small loss, using "stop buy to cover" or "stop sells"
on every trade....and call it insurance !
