Well, there certainly are various views. Right now Dell makes up 100% of my liquid portfolio and that makes me very nervous. However, I really can not sell any (don't want to) until they are at least 18 months old. My view on this is I firmly believe Dell is an excellent <strong buy, buy, accumulate, hold> take your pick for at least the next 2 - 3 years. That should be 2, maybe 3, splits and be still at the $100/share level. At that point I'll gladly pay only 20% income tax. Or maybe I can convert them in some sort of non taxable event. The strange thing is, I know better, than to be this lopsided, but in this case I feel pretty safe. And certainly I'll hedge.
