I think one of the most intriguing aspects of MDCE is that their software for foreign markets will be "home grown",i.e. Parthenon. I would suspect the market for the typical U.S. movie or TV series is not as great in places such as Turkey, where the culture is not as "westernized", as it is in Western Europe, for example, or even Japan.

These "other" countries have the same "values" as we do (human nature is, after all, worldwide) but they, perhaps, relate better to situations portrayed in their own culture than to ours. A German can probably see the humor in a "Monty Python" episode, but could a Turk? That's asssuming you can find a German who isn't "humor-impaired".

India had (may still have) the largest film industry in the world. Why? Because they couldn't find imported films that the people could relate to, or that would promote and verify their own view of life.

The more I sit here clicking these keys the bigger I think this market is. Now I feel even more confident that MDCE knows where the money is.
