<<it validates the thin client concept>>

Exactly right - and the leaders in the field will prosper - which obviously bodes well for CTXS - as the leader. CTXS is the defacto standard for thin client computing in corporate America - it will be very difficult to unseat them/their lead. Corporate America wants to input solutions that are currently working - not proprietary solutions with perspective potential. There will always be openings for competition - but again the likelihood of unseating CTXS from the top seat is miniscule. My money is on CTXS and their management to continue to prosper.

Rog,

It's not fair to call any comers to be valid competition. You know better. If any remote client can be considered competition, we'd include Carbon Copy, PC Anywhere, etc. I heard years ago that a PCAnywhere multi-user version was imminent. In software bus just having software to sell doesn't count. You've got to build all kinds of infrastructure. There's channel support, distribution, sales force, prove it in real user's hands, etc., etc. I wouldn't be surprised if someday, someone makes a decent entry into ThinWin market but I will only count it when I see the whites of their eyes. I have a friend who made a car, should GM, Chrysler, etc. start looking over their shoulder? Isn't there more to anyone's business? -N

P.S. Programmatically and complexity wise, a single user version of SW(especially ThinWin), differs ** dramatically ** when it comes to multi user. When these guys say that they are going to do multi in future, between the lines says that they've done very little so far(single user).
