My comments were not directed at BB stocks or FAMH specifically, but rather the mentality of the individual investor. If a stock is at $33.50, you want to buy it at $32.50. If you use spikes, triangles, and cup handles on a chart, you will probably lose. You will never get in at the low and out on the high. I think I need to take a step back because I have started talking about investing and you're talking about gambling (no different than how people pick their lottery numbers).

>>95% of all pennystocks go under. If one was to adopt the
buy and hold mentality for Pennys most would go broke.<<

I don't think you would go broke. Suppose an equal amount
($1000) is speculated in 20 penny stocks and these are
the results over 3 years.

invest value
10% lose 100% (worthless) $2000 $0
20% lose 75% $4000 $1000
20% lose 50% $4000 $2000
20% lose 25% $4000 $3000
20% break-even $4000 $4000
5% goes up 50% $1000 $1500
5% go up 1600+% $1000 $17000
------------------------------------------------------
total $20000 $28500 (gain of 42.5% over 3 yrs)

As long as you don't mistakenly sell the 1 that goes up 1600+% to
soon you will do fine, but maybe that is what you meant that
'most will go broke' since they will sell the one that goes up
1600+% when they are up 200%.
