John,

Well, I ship a software product that comes as a compressed, self extracting package. It ships as a 205KB file. Over 60% of my customers request delivery of a 3.5" diskette even though they can get the program via the internet at a savings of $3 in the US or $6 international. I don't know why. But should Bill Gates (he's about the only one I know of who could unilaterally declare a media dead and probably get away with it, hell he'd probably be nominated for some award for doing it) I would not send out a CD or Zip or JAZ or any other form other than internet... not worth it.

Just my $.02

Ben A.
