Eeeeek. This Isn't Simple...

Got into ITVU a while back because our company visited
an Internet show called Thunder Lizard in New York,
and was very impressed with their technology. (About
the same time, a cyber-buddy of mine named webinfopro
posted (on the Yahoo! SEEK board) that he was in it.)
Got out of ITVU on Friday... 'cause I just plain wanted
to table some profits. No indictment of the company.
Some uncertainty about the Market, though. (BTW, our
company is going to be using ITVU video banners for
THAT client I mentioned once. I'll report on what
we think of the actual product at a later point.)

Got into RealNetworks about, dang, four months ago.
Pretty much the same story: recommended, this time,
by a client who was using their RealAudio product
and was considering putting together a Web event
with their help. Made some
money... sold about, dang, two months ago. Still like
them as well. Haven't read any of their latest announcements.
Could, though, see them as a take-out target a la
what Starwave was for Disney and what I think WAVO
(which I am still in and will be for time immemorial)
will be for MSFT some day.

That's all I know. No great insight. Just jumped
on. And then jumped off. Not huge positions in
either case. Sort of figured though... what with all
boats rising at the time... and these being a lot
better boats than some... it was quite safe.

Best Regards,
