I don't know about that. Who was the big pusher of short? How do you know it wasn't all his play? You want the crooks from the bank robbery you follow the trail of banknotes falling out of their pockets. He has to be in place with his short position before he and his buddy Acosta break the bad news. And the illegal shorts are mostly opportunistic. They can sell on the down tick, they do not have to be on the upside first.

Hi Rob. BBfisher's chart is based on the data I provided to the thread a few days ago. Some think the illegal short position has increased dramatically due to Asensio's attack, but I am not privy to that information so I can't comment. I suspect the illegal shorts were already in place just as the legal ones were when Mr. A. came on the scene. Even though we disagree about some things, it's nice to see that we can still share information in a civilized manner (unlike some who prefer to behave like two-year-olds).
