More insights into ALYD's life after 2000 strategy:

Excerpt from Bob Gruder's letter to the shareholders....

<snip>

What is the Company's plan for life after 2000? We have been working, since the fourth quarter of 1997, on an acquisition strategy to identify suitable target companies which would significantly broaden the Company's information technology services, with a goal of becoming a full systems integration company. We want to add a mix of service and products, including a staffing division, systems integration consulting division, a language conversion and systems migration division, and a government systems integration division. By looking for companies which could provide significant opportunities for cross-selling services, we are focusing on acquisitions which we believe can have a positive impact on earnings to meet both short- and long-term goals. To assist in this acquisition strategy, Alydaar engaged two investment banking firms, First Albany Corporation and Hanifen, Imhoff inc., in April 1998. We hope that by the end of the second quarter or early third quarter 1998, we will have completed our first acquisition.

I like information about the future direction of the company. If ALYD acquires the right companies, IMO this will benefit existing shareholders immensely.
