NasdaqStud,
I see you are new to Silicon Investor. Welcome.

Regarding Stitch, I would suggest you use the "Profile" feature on SI. This is accessed by clicking on the poster's name at the top of a message. His profile indicates that he is a business consultant and not a Wall Street professional.
The profile is also handy to review a poster's past messages and viewpoints. I would strongly suggest that you review his messages and other posters messages to get a clear picture of one person's thoughtful opinion.

The sarcastic reply to your posting was probably undeserved but, if you review the last several days of postings, I am sure you will find it understandable.

Welcome to SI,

Yogi

Stud,

<<Stitch - Why would you call your broker? Am I mistaken, or, are you an analyst with a major wirehouse? >> You are mistaken...again :).

<<And, why the sarcasm?>> delayed response to your "guru" comment brought on by an early morning migraine that the coffee wouldn't dissipate quickly enough... sorry.

<<Oh - what is the downside here?>> Lost opportunity on better places for your money. Loss of your money. Appearing foolish on SI.

<<And, what about the upside.>> Yup...you could make a lot of money...and if cows had wings we would all have a fertile garden.

<<And, oh, the risk/reward ratio>> see my comments above re: downside. I don't think its a favorable at all.

<<And, where can I buy a disk drive with an IBM GMR head>> From your friendly IBM sales guy.

<<You are not a short, but your style is pretty close to the likes of Abelson>> The difference between me and Abelson is that I have been right...so far. Hang in long enough and you will get to say I told you so...assuming you have enough money left to pay your ISP bill <G> (No...don't still have the headache...just feeling mean.)

<<Perhaps the stock is weak over the near term,>> Ahhh...we agree on something.

Stitch
