Ed,
why does the stock I'm in, TAVA, an embedded chip factory floor analysis., have new clients contracted for Y2K work like COCA-COLA, BOEING, GM, HERSHEY, KRAFT, UNILEVER, DENVER MINT, BRISTOL MYERS SQUIBB, with worldwide assignments etc, (which were contracted for Y2K work in the past six months. go see their thread and website-www.planty2kone) for fixing their year 2000 problems in embedded chips, these being the ones you find in robotic arms for car assembly lines, for small example. These clients are part of their core business of systems checking of embedded chips. A utility plant manager's husband on the TAVA thread said she forwarded the clocks to the 12/31/99 mode and 1/3 of the plant shut down. This was a test during light power usage. Why have these companies contracted with TAVA? It is not a hoax. They are dealing with the problem, not denying one. Some is, but not all is hype. It goes deeper than software. TAVA was written up in FORTUNE a couple of weeks ago-
