No. I'd just watch Time & Sales and see if MM's move after getting hit for 1000. Such trades are obviously not a way to make a living. My earlier point was more focused on supporting the notion that mentions on CNBC can move a stock.

I think the bottom line is....to win consistently, you must know the complete personality of the stocks you trade.

With that said, all movements in a stock or market start from the
intra-day moves. It is common for market makers and specialists to move a stock in sympathy of news even though there is no relationship between the two.
