Further comments on statements made by Mr. Lepo to Greg over on the Yahoo thread:

These are both big selling points. In my investor packet is a study which shows that latex catheters rupture more often than American BioMed's catheters. When a latex catheter ruptures it fragments and can create a very real health risk in the patient's blood stream.

Still latex allergies are indeed very real and are becoming more prevalent and recognized every day. I think that there is some possibility that Mr Lepo is still among that portion of the population that underestimates the potential for a severe allergy to latex to cause anaphylatic shock and even, if not treated promptly, death.
