Barney I am not in the least like your friend. I face death daily with no fear of an afterlife. If you read carefully what John the baptist said it was that one comes after me that will not baptise not with water but with fire. I have had the spiritual baptism with fire and know the Father and I are one. You cannot accept this any more than the people of old could accept that Jesus and God were one.

I have eternal life which is also misunderstood because of the accepted concept of one life and heaven and hell. I know there is a transition where I will shed this physical body just as leaves fall from a tree. And like the leaves I will return life after life until I
complete my work in the cosmos.

I wrote an article on my thoughts of prayer and may find time to send at a later date. I did not throw out the baby with the bath water. I am just one who has experienced God from within instead of an unreachable place not known. I guess the big difference is most Christians will tell you God is their co-pilot. My big difference is God is my pilot and I let go and let God. It has worked in many impossible situations for me that others call a miracle.
