100hot in my mind is a vehicle used by promoters of web site companies to pump their stock (ok so I'm a little over-suspicious but hear me out).

First thing is Silicon Investor is ranked twenty-somethingth in internet investment sites. Hmph.

Of all the gambling websites in the world, Galaxiworld (www.galaxiworld.com) is ranked #1 by 100 hot. Funny, they also have banner ads for galaxi. Yet Galaxiworld has not opened for business or produced a penny of revenue. I have no doubt they have generated plenty of hits, from stockholders, potential stockholders, and all of the people clicking on their many banner ads.

CBS Sportsline probably has a lot of hits. Does that make it worth $680 million? I use several sports web sites, Sportsline would probably be my 4th or 5th favorite, and only episodically for some of the format of their football roster info, etc. TULIPS!
