1st Quarter '98 results -- signs of a turnaround? Accent Software International, Ltd., (Nasdaq: ACNTF and ACNUF) announced today that it's first quarter revenue was $705,000, a 23% improvement from the fourth quarter of last year. The company also reported that its operating loss during the first quarter improved to $1,796,000 compared with an operating loss of $3,172,000 during the prior quarter and an operating loss of $2,045,000 during the first quarter of 1997. The net loss for the quarter was $1,841,000 or $0.08 per share, compared to $5,789,000 or $0.43 per share during the fourth quarter. The net loss during the first quarter of 1997 was $2,027,000; $0.17 per share.
