Equity Put/Call today is euphoric, somewhat, at 0.48 I am told.

Whenever you put in an order for an option trade it is routed to the primary exchange for that option.

You must specify the exchange if you wish it to be executed elsewhere.

I say that from my own experience.

Jim:

I had the same experience with COST on the buy side. I had an order in at a price, say 1 3/8, although I don't recall the specific price now. I saw the ask hit 1 3/8 and it held there for a while. I assumed I'd filled, and went to lunch. Later found out that I had not filled. When I followed up, I was told that the option had been at 1 3/8, but on the Pacific Exchange, and the order was in elsewhere. I was told if I wanted them to move the order to the Pacific Exchange, I needed to instruct them to do so. Bull.

BTW, the trade would've been profitable, had it filled.
