It may fade after CEO dismisses takeover speculation: SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Shares of PC Quote (PQT) jumped 1 5/8 or 50 percent to 4 7/8 on talk that a major Internet company was interested in buying the electronic stock quotes firm. Speculation surfaced that Yahoo (YHOO) would play white knight to the fledgling Internet company, which has suffered a steak of money-losing quarters. Internet bulletin boards Monday were packed with investors' comments that the company would be purchased. CEO Jim Porter in Chicago, where the company is based, dismissed the talk and said the speculation had been circulating for weeks.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ENERGIZER BUNNY FOUND DEAD Today, the world was stunned by the news of the death of the Energizer Bunny. He was six years old. Authorities believe the death occurred at approximately 8:42 p.m. last evening. Best known as the irritating pink bunny that keeps going and going and going; "Pinkie" as he was lovingly known by his friends and family was alone at the time of death. An emergency autopsy was performed early this morning. Chief medical examiner Dr. Dura Cell concluded that the cause of death was acute cardiac arrest indicted by sexual overstimulation. Apparently, someone put the bunny's batteries in back wards and he kept coming and coming and coming..
