This is laughable. He periodically makes statements pro/con regarding the semi sector. This time he just happened to be right. Even a stopped clock.....

kid -- You may be correct in the ST, but my over 40 years of investment experience is that I am correct 50% of the time ST, while my broker (in this case, my son) is always ST correct. For an insight, here is the 5 yr chart of AMAT:
