I will gladly buy all the LGNDW you care to sell me at 7 1/2, with LGND 14. You neglect to take the 25 months of time premium into consideration.

That's true now, but it wasn't always so. There was an endless debate about this some time ago and it isn't worth rehashing. Suffice it to say that there are conditions under which buying the warrants is the optimal choice. It all comes down to the level of risk you want to live with.
