Religous extremism of any sort usually leads to hatred and intolerance, which in itself usually leads to violence and even murder.

That is why it is important to speak out against intolerance of any sort, weather it eminates from people on this thread, or fringe extremist groups.

It is also important to note that these extremeists(christian white supremacists, muslim terrorists, or even the JDL) are not a reflection of the mainstream religion that they profess to represent. They are not even a fair representtion of the mainstream people within that religion.

Christine, Nando does not keep these stories very long. You have to jump on them right away. It was a story about a Catholic priest committing suicide because of a death sentence given to a Christian for insulting the Muslim faith.
