Diana, The US and the Netherlands are the only two countries that have approved Viagra for use. So if the US & Dutch markets continue to generate 300,000 prescriptions per week it would give US & Dutch sales of $1.5 Billion. My guess is that prescriptions will level off at 400,000 or better for the US and Dutch markets. I would further guess that the rest of the world would generate about 1,750,000 prescriptions per week. This would put the total world market at $11 to $12 billion. Now, suppose Pfizer find a new market for women. That would be in addition to the above numbers.

YOU AINT SEEN NOTHIN YET! There has been some (illegal) import into Europe. Some famous Red Lite centers in Amsterdam offering V at $ 50.-/$ 75 a clip........ There is tremendous interest in Western Europe, where Pfizer is rushing to introduction. Many pundits discussing the merits on TV programmes. I counted 4 last week,two in Germany. This is going to be the outstanding new product here like it is in the US. My guess is that Viagra will be the biggest selling pill in the WORLD for some time to come. Millions in the FarEast are using all sorts of strange matters to enhance sexual performance (remember powdered rhino horn?) so as far as turnover of Viagra is concerned "you ain't seen nothing yet...!"
