Got about 3/4 of the way through the presentation before I was kicked out. Appears Rhapsody is dead as we know it, to be folded into Mac OS X. Good I think for the company, bad for investors this year. No significant software revenues.

An appeal to game makers for iMac. I'm hopeful that game makers will step forward. After all in the Wintel world games have to be targeted at the middle of the performance range. With Mac they can now be targeted at essentially the high end. Perhaps we'll see game makers providing the Mac versions of their games with enhanced graphics, etc., that would be a nice switch.

Hate to bring this up cause I know it will create hate and discontent but it appears to me that Apple is leaning towards Microsoft's version of Java.

So, a year for Mac to get a truly modern OS - slow but steady. I suppose something exciting could still happen on the OS side but prudence would dictate taking Jobs at his word. Rich
