Re:What is going on here???

More sellers than buyers<GGG>

Seriously, CYMI had a runup of about 100% from the lows hit early this year to where we were intraday a few weeks ago. Right now, we are about 50% off of recent lows, comparable to others in the group. So unless CYMI is going to realize revenue from another area, I don't think that for the time being anyone should expect significant outperformance since CYMI has the same bug everyone else currently has(Read: missing revs.).

Yeah, AMAT reports earnings tomorrow evening. A lot of the smaller semi equipment makers have been down over the last few days. Check out SFAM's chart.

CYMI is way oversold and overshorted. This stock will set records for price appreciation when the time is right. In the interim there is a quiet desperate struggle to obtain shares on behalf of the short interest. There have been people here who have recommended writing covered calls - a terrible strategy. No one should take equity risk with a upside ceiling for a puny option premium. Witness the following gentleman who, for the first time ever writing covered calls saw his CYMI shares assigned away to the short interest looking for shares.

The best thing to do do is sit tight. The earning is in the sitting.

Sooner or later the outstanding fundamentals will begin to manifest themselves in the reported results. By then the stock will already have taken off upwards. If you believe that semiconductor chips and technology are a big growing part of the future then that's all you need to know.

My shares are all in a cash account (not a margin account where the broker can lend them out to be shorted without my knowledge). That is the best way to ensure that eventually the huge short interest will take it *in* the shorts (pun intended).

Good Luck To Each And All
