Pete, I can't summarize all of them. But a full third read something like this, "Mike, why won't this stinking, bankrupt Micron Tech go down?" "It will. Have faith. MB" <G>

Then, or course, I had to brag about putting $5 on Real Quiet's nose.
I bragged a bit less about doing the same for Halory Hunter. <G> But my $100 across the board on Victory Gallop worked out very nicely, even though it didn't win. I don't like to see any rider or horse hurt, but I was kind of rooting for Desormeaux to fall into a soft spot that wouldn't hurt him prior to reaching the wire. <G> Of course, had Native American Charlie won, I might have just gotten my money back on VG.

I hit a good one yesterday on simulcast. All day my bets were just flopping around, up a little, down a little. But my last bet was on a quarter horse maiden race from Retama. I hit a $117 exacta on a $12 bet and a $1000+ tri on a $16 bet.

I got a call from a track buddy after I got home and she said that the next two tris at Retama paid even more. However, as I mentioned, I probably wouldn't have had them. <G>

I love the quarterhorses. Less jockey interference. That is, until I hit another big winner on the blue bloods, then I'll be back in their camp. <G>

Hope you handicapped well.
