Yup, it was a while back. But what I do remember is that they (the Rainbow Warrior) deliberately rammed another boat. Whaler? Whatever. I'd say running into the other guy qualifies as violent intent. Granted, watching the other guy set up to sink a spike into a cetacean would make your average Greener want to ******* DO something. But that doesn't lessen the, uhm, directness - of the course of action. After that I think they dropped back and like chained themselves to french nuclear vessels and such. Y'know, the max obnoxious type of technically non-violent protest.
