Must know, Justin, did you go on to college and build beercan pyramids in the living room? Did you steal street signs to decorate your bedroom? And ---most importantly--do you now have a pink flamingo in your front yard? Because otherwise, the license plate in the tree was only an accidental burst of tacky, a mere flash in the tasteless pan, and not a real indication of creative kitschgenius. The best I can claim is bookshelves made from planks and concrete blocks --but they were spraypainted bright colors. And a boyfriend with a coffee table made from an empty cablespool. And, oh yes, a girlfriend who cut up old nylons and tied them in knots and made rugs. They were really ugly. And welcome to DAR, a quietplace at the moment, but friendly.
