numbers are great when understood and dangerous when not. take for example the 70%+ negative yield on BB stocks and answer the following questions: 1) is orange county representative of the BB exchange in general? 2) how is the BB exchange weighted? what percentage are involved in telecommunications? 3) what percentage of the failure were underfunded and in financial distress? 4) and what percentage increase did we see from the winners? although this would be misleading also for the above reasons! we are not winning against the odds of some wierd engine company that is failing...or a outboard motor company...or a etc. i find it interesting that you display a seemingly negative statistic and then say that this implies a positive result for dgiv. my take: the stat should have never even been put on the thread. it is worthless and misleading.
