IBM's plans to hire 1000 additional DB-focused sales personnel (tripling existing sales force) can only mean that IBM sees this as a very large market. If IFMX gets its fair piece of this pie, today's share price will be a bargain.

However, the key word is plans. Also, they might be wrong -- IBM has been known to misfire.
