The beat goes on. SBC & Ameritech set to merge in 62 billion dollar deal. I wonder what the BCE execs are thinking watching the action down south (and world wide)as more giant telcos emerge. How does BCE compare in terms of market cap, total revenues etc. to these giants ? Anyone ? What would happen to BCE and the other Canadian telcos if we ever saw full fledged "deregulation" (with foreign participation), as envisioned by the FCC in the USA, come to Canada.
