I can't get a good handle on the market yet. To me it looks like it wants to go up. Both the sp500 and the dj-30 had tweezer bottoms stopping the down move over the thurs-fri period of last week. Everywhere I go people write they are going to cash- that is bullish to me. I want to be bearish, I love being bearish, but I need confirmation. I also don't have enough stocks looking horribly overbought yet, either. A few weeks ago almost everything looked that way.

As always your analysis was interesting, thanks for posting it.

DJIA has not been a good technical "indicator" of overall market performance since the beginning of this year. At times it can show an independance from the rest of the market. I think this is in part due to foreign money interests. I think the S&P 500 along with the NASDAQ will be more telling.
