getgo & others: Yeah I too was surprised by the NY connection. It is definitely tomorrow. Do companies usually make those type of big announcements at the annual meetings??? I didn't think so. Wonder what they will serve for food? And I wonder if those going get free Sony PlayStation chips embedded in key tags??? --- Must make more sense for them to be in NY - since the company is so poorly understood (also might escape the wrath of the savvy guys & perhaps disgruntled CA investors). --- Check these questions out: (1) Aren't you concerned that LSI's success will draw large Japanese, Korean and US companies with greater resources to apply? (2) Would you call LSI an ASIC company? (3) Is the talk about single-chip systems real? --- Do you (or others) know the common link in these questions? And do you (or others) know the answer to these questions? And are you (or others) comfortable with the answers to these questions? --- Shane (just curious)

Q. When will the Annual Shareholder's Meeting be held? A. The 1998 Annual Shareholder's Meeting will be held May 12, 1998 at Continental Center, 180 Maiden Lane in New York. lsilogic.com I do not expect anything significant, there usually isn't. As best I can remember, this is the first for NY. I do not expect a buyback since we just had one. Does anyone know if LSI's annual shareholder meeting is tomorrow ? Does anyone expect any significant news announcements to be be made at the meeting ? I understand that the meeting is taking place in New York. Is it unusual for the annual meeting to occur outside of California ? I would expect the announcement of a significant stock buyback program if management is very comfortable with earnings and cash flow projections for the next 12 months. Your comments please. o~~~ O
