Yes, I have pretty much given up on forecasting the market- but I still get very annoyed when I shift my long/short balance because I perceive a change is occurring and then I am wrong. Individual stocks I am much better at, but you know some of them behave and some do not. I have thrown some bad boys out because they did not conform to their charts.

chris. money flow link is from may7th. is it valid to look at such data?

fundamentally, dell trading at 71.x pe is bit hard for me to swollow.
when this dec-jan it was at 35 pe.

M.dell always sez PC growth of 15% will continue. Dell maybe growing at 3 times that rate i.e. 45% and that does not justify 71pe.

whole computer industry is trading at PEG of 1.25 so maybe fair pe for dell maybe 56.25 which makes the stock at 72.

knowing all that i bot dell last friday anyway, as i know no one really cares about fundamental when momentum is on run.
i was also intending to buy some more today but felt too rushed
at then end of the day and thought needed more time to think thru.

My other problem is dell becoming a much bigger % of my total portfolio. but just can't resist it.
