Well, I never tried either one myself, but the rest of my gang in the Navy used to have knock down dragout arguments over which was better ....

Ripple, or Red Mountain.

Of course, gallons of each had to be consumed before anybody got to the point where they thought they could tell the difference.

Now ... if you want to debate Sprite vs 7-Up ... I'm your man.

Ripple Wine? Personally it was Bali Hi, and some Columbian Gold.<gg> My, my, that was 3 lifetimes ago.
