Yes, Korea is setting new 52-week lows.

Pakistan is also near its low -- I'm surprised that it's not hurting more, as a response to the heightened tension with India, following India's detonation of three underground nuclear devices yesterday.

They're now shooting people in Indonesia.

What are the odds on timely foreign debt repayment if the current government is overthrown? They'll follow the Philippines in insisting "the old dictator took it all," to be followed by a long investigation, during which any payments will be suspended.

If Suharto is looking, I hear the Marcos's place in Hawaii is now available...

And of course, we're also getting ready for a nuclear war in the subcontinent, and India is a major source of Y2K programmers on whom the future of the world depends.
