alski, ever stepped in front of a train before? lol, i guess i would determine how abtx tends to benefit from the merger, has their position as a result of mtc 's merger improved? i gotta believe some quick profits are gonna be yanked as well. my guess is sympathy as you believe. most of the intermediate and long indicators are showing weakness, so i wouldn't expect the run to last, you'll see the buying dry up.imo

Alski, ABTX had upgrade from Piper Jaffrey today from a buy to a strong buy. The buyout of DeKalb had to of helped too.

Alski,

I'd say the market has a very keen eye on the situation and if you were in a position to take profits on ABTX (as Ivan is) then now's the time. Don't try to "wish" the situation higher, just stick with the time value of your money that has been offered here........got that, Ivan????

Alski:

My broker says that early signs show it's going to gap up about 3/4 at the open today; yesterday, it showed phenomenal strength in the face of selling after the morning gap-up. NEVER underestimate the fury of a hot stock that's standing at just the right angle to the latest three-day craze in mergers/acquisitions. In some respects, it's the market's very heart of darkness.
All easy to say, of course, if by a series of complete accidents you happen to own the stock.
GO ABTX GO ABTX GO ABTX GO!!!!
