India violated no international laws or treaties in what they did today.

I'm very interested to see if there are any reports estimating the TNT equivalent of the thermonuclear device tested today. If anyone sees such, please let me know.

It is quite an accomplishment to have the first test of a thermonuclear device work as planned.
