Fine, you don't want to buy a dongle to attach to your serial part. Then it stands to reason that you definitely would not open your computer to solder a WAVX chip to the mother board!

The point I was trying to make is that you could increase the installed base of WAVX chip owners much quicker with a serial port "plug and play" than you would waiting years for all the OEMs to fall into line.
