myTrack User: Well most of the questions I have thought of have been asked: (1) filtering of news, (2)file save of each screen (i don't mind the limit of 20 but would like to switch from one group to another by loading an alternative file), (3)added columns etc (4)intraday charts Obviously they HAVE to add % change. And a column sort options would also be nice. TO RTTRADER users: This mytrack product looks to undercut RTrader. Obviously with 20 stocks they should be able to handle 5 times the customers with the same server power as does NAQ, perhaps even more, because intraday trades are not saved to local disk, but put into a basic text file. The news seems better because of the scrolling option, but then most of the time it moves too fast and scrolling back is interrupted as new stories are added. IF one is "watching for news" forget about trading, it is not even possible for one person to do it. The BEST feature is the ability to get company Marketguide reports in text format and to be able to save them for other uses. THAT is almost worth the $10 fee alone, and real time is not needed since THAT database is updated in the evening (or even once a week in most cases) I agree, this product in no way has a real chance to beat out Rttrader with the current setup. Paying exchanges fees twice (when one budget is low enough to demand a $10 service makes no sense either, so it seems that it would be one or the other. One could use mytrack for real time and NAQ delayed for charting, as long as minute and tick charts were not needed. I doubt mytrack will provide this in real time for $10 when the average for this type of service is $150/mnth. myTrack is great for the portable, when traveling and when you just have to have 20 stocks streaming by with quotes. And perhaps as a backup service for a more expensive product. PS: Anyone know IF you pay exchange fees with ONE service WHY you have to pay the full amount again, when buying another service?
