Looks like the HSI is going down for a double dip. Will the lows of a few months ago hold? Has the Asian economic outlook worsened that much? I'm looking to buy somewhere in here as it looks like a lot of bad news is in the pricing of the SEA markets. What do you think?
Jim

Thank you, Doug.

Also see where HSBC is expanding, re-expanding, or re-positioning themselves in South America. If memory serves me, HSBC had liquidated some S.A. interests (e.g. Banco O'Higgins en Chile) several years ago. Appears they may have a pro-active approach to maintaining world market share. Which is only to say that HSBC's organisation evolves as economies do.

Thanks for the intelligent and gracious reply Doug. You and Tom have an excellent dialogue going that helps us all. My mind is a little fuzzy because of a cold, but it appears Tom is right and that there will be a better opportunity than the time I chose. good luck, fred
