I agree in part. Procter & Gamble does not announce each new supermarket in which they get shelf space.


But P&G also does not announce "really big news" and then omit the newsworthy part. This is not good PR.


TSIS could have provided the information *very effectively* in the following fashion. "TSIS announces that its roster now includes <fill in number> of companies. For competitive reasons, many of TSIS's clients do not wish to have their names published, and TSIS respects their wishes. These <number from above> will bring TSIS's revenues to <amount> with a <percent> margin.


Thus you salvage the key element of publicly announcing the margin rates without "announcing the unannouncable".
