Hi MPH,
Don't really have a feel for MRVC, however I would expect that INTC would be involved since they already have a significant stack. The reason that the LU/BAY marriage makes since is that LU needs strong layer three data capabilities and I am not aware of extensive L3 strength with MRVC. They do have a subsidiary called NBase that does bridging and switching (maybe more since the last time I looked), but I just don't see anything happening there. Basically, they are not on my radar.

To put a P&F spin on things here are where some of my candidates stand:

BAY - support at $22, trading under BRL, recently reversed into a column of Xs, will hit double top resistance at 30. (I see LU as the suitor, and there are other indications that they are strengthening their relationship)

FSCX - Voice/data over frame relay products. Beaten up stock, trading near all time low. Recently reversed back into a column of Xs. Trading below BRL. (Highly speculative, but I made a buck a share in one week).

NTRX - Same basic play as FSCX. Just broke a double top and added another X today. Recently broke through BRL. No rumors that I am aware of.

ANET - Same as FSCX and NTRX. Lots of rumors on SI and Yahoo threads about potential acquisition. Chart was looking good with higher highs and higher lows, but broke down technically last week with a double bottom and BSL break.

MRVC seems to have a nice pattern working with a bullish breakout off of a triangle. But again, it is off of my radar.
